The Jews and their Cursed Book and what does in mean for 2024?

• Hi I’m Rod Anderson, consider this, the Bible makes some very bold claims. Could even be considered the most preposterous assertions in all literature.  Not only does it claim to reveal the origins of the world and mankind,(SLOWLY) something which no other book would have the temerity of doing.  It also claims that its Author is not of this world.

 For evidence  some would cite the forty writers of the Bible, from three different continents, of varying professions and levels of education, who wrote over a period of 1,500 years, but as improbable as it may seem, none contradict the other, in doctrine, in eschatology, in theology, in soteriology , in prophetic utterances, nor in Whom is to be worshipped, or how He is to be worship and when He is to be worshipped.

 How is it possible, if these are just the random thoughts and writings of unconnected men, who on a fancy decided they would write on spiritual themes? (CLEARLY)  It is not possible from a human point of understanding. But as the Bible claims to be THE Inspired Word of God, and God was the common cause for each author’s inspiration, then it is not surprising that after the most rigorous enquiry, harmony is evident.

Furthermore, the Bible makes startling claims about the person Jesus Christ. For example the Word of God declares that Jesus was fully Divine.  Eight hundred years before the time of Jesus Christ, a Messianic prophecy, (PAUSE) a prophecy pointing to the Messiah to come was recorded by the Old Testament prophet Micah.  In chapter five and verse two, it identifies the place where the Messiah was to be born, but also describes something of the nature of the Messiah.  It promises

 But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall He come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.

This prophecy identifies Bethlehem as the place where the Messiah was to be born, but it tells us that the Messiah to be born in Bethlehem, existed before His incarnation, and to quote the prophet Micah “whose going forth are from of old from everlasting.” To put in a more colloquial fashion,(PAUSE) the prophet Micah is alerting us, that the Messiah to be born in Bethlehem existed before His birth, whose dwelling place was eternity with the Father, and was worshipped by the angels of God in heaven, in the same fashion as the Father is worshipped.

  If we were to do a thorough study of the Old Testament, we would find there are over 300 prophecies which were miraculously fulfilled in the birth, life, ministry, death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ. Of all the brilliant opponents of Christianity in the world, why hasn’t one of them, written a book to show from a scholarly perspective – how each of those prophecies were fulfilled in another person, or are yet to be satisfied?

 The Jews still wait for the Messiah to come. They rejected Jesus Christ as the Messiah in 31AD, going so far as to engineer His murder.   Of all the people’s in the world, with the most to gain and to prove once and for all that Jesus was a charlatan, why haven’t they produced the evidence.  If any people could and ipso facto should produce a book,  showing that Jesus did not meet the Old Testament prophecies of the Messiah, –  it is the Jews.  But nothing of a sort has been forthcoming.  Why have they been silent all these centuries, if Jesus was just a common criminal?

 Far from producing material to show that Jesus was a fraud. The Jewish religious authorities since the time of Christ, have increased the suspicion of many,  that they are trying to hide evidence from their own people.  How? By stifling open and honest investigation of the Old Testament prophecies which pointed to the Messiah, and by removing vital evidence.  How have they done that?
